Addressing Communication in Entertainment Travel

Setting the scene for a day of discussions was an all-star entertainment travel panel, featuring senior leaders from Design Hotels, Hyatt and First in Service. Representing both travel buyers and suppliers, they explored the key challenges that both sides of the industry face, and how they might work better together to establish industry-wide best practices.

Transparently sharing their stories and experiences, our panel discussed how their challenges have impacted their work, and the strategies they used to address them. This open and collaborative discussion helped shape new frameworks for better industry collaboration, and directly informed our afternoon workshop.

CROSS-COLLABORATION:

Shaping Best Practices in Entertainment & Travel

The Pregame crew came together to create industry-wide best practices that will elevate collaboration between travel buyers and suppliers within the entertainment and travel sectors. The session kicked off with a panel discussion featuring industry leaders who shared their insights and experiences, highlighting key pain points within the travel industry. This discussion set the stage for the interactive workshop that followed.

The workshop focused on Communication, Relationships & Transparency; one of three key categories of mutual challenges between entertainment travel buyers & suppliers. Delegates were divided into groups, each led by a selected industry expert, to delve into these specific pain points. Building on insights from previous sessions, these groups worked together to develop actionable frameworks and best practices aimed at fostering better communication and collaboration between exhibitors and buyers.
